Safety first, always
Newborn safety comes before any photograph. Babies are never forced into a pose, the studio is kept warm and clean, and every set-up is supported and unhurried.
Photographer, mother, and quiet observer of the smallest moments — working from a calm studio in Coventry.
001The wait for a baby. The first sleepy fortnight. The cake-covered grin of a first birthday. These seasons pass in a blur of feeds and laundry — and then one day they’re simply over. My work is to slow them down long enough to keep.
I trained as a portrait photographer and found my home in newborn and family work — the slow kind, with warm light, soft textures and no stopwatch. I’m newborn-safety trained, endlessly patient with toddlers, and genuinely never happier than when a session dissolves into giggles.
The studio is in Coventry, with families visiting from across Warwickshire and the West Midlands. If you’d like to talk about a session — or just ask a question — say hello →
Newborn safety comes before any photograph. Babies are never forced into a pose, the studio is kept warm and clean, and every set-up is supported and unhurried.
Sessions are never rushed. There is time built in for feeds, breaks, wardrobe changes and wobbly toddler moods — the best frames happen when nobody is watching the clock.
Gentle direction, never stiff posing. You’ll always know what to do with your hands — and the photographs will still look like you, on a really good day.
