Autumn Isn't Done Yet
Christmas bookings have officially opened, and it feels like the whole season jumped ahead all at once — messages about December, questions about dates, the countdown already starting.
But here in the studio, autumn is still very much here.
The set is still standing: warm rust and amber tones, soft burnt-orange light, layered textures and little seasonal details that photograph beautifully from every angle.
This year's autumn set has quickly become one of my favourites — rich rather than rustic, cosy without trying too hard, and completely different from anything the Christmas set is about to bring.
Everything in it has been put together by hand here in the studio, so what ends up in your photographs is exactly what was in the room that day.
I love how the light falls in these sessions. Soft, golden and endlessly flattering — the kind of light that makes jumpers, bare feet and quiet, unposed moments look effortless.
A Few More Autumn Sessions
The autumn set won't be up for much longer before it makes way for Christmas.
If you've been meaning to book a session in these warm, golden tones, now is the time.
There's something lovely about tucking in one more cosy session before the year properly turns towards Christmas — a last little pocket of amber and gold before the lights and greenery arrive.
For now, though, the studio is still glowing with autumn.
The colours are warm. The light is soft.
And there's still time to capture it. 🍂
